Her attention to detail and her sumptuous visual style combine to create works charged with emotion, beauty and elegance.
Dutch born Eva Midgley started in advertising at DDB Needham in Jakarta, Indonesia. After working there for several years she went
on to direct fashion and beauty for AD Magazine, one of the largest weekly newspaper supplements in the Netherlands.
After moving to London to explore her film making, Eva wrote, produced and directed ‘Honey and Bunny’, a short film for Coco de Mer. It won an array of awards and was a finalist in the New York Film Festivals. ‘Erotic Moments’, a series of seven short films, is Eva’s latest collaboration with Coco de Mer. Her short film ‘Peep Show’ was chosen as a participant of the 6th Annual HollyShorts film festival in Hollywood, California and by LA Shorts Fest 2010.
Although she loves London, Eva currently lives in Brooklyn, (and loves it) with her photographer husband, John Midgley, and their children.
