Jongmin Lee
After graduating in visual communications Hanul Lee’s passion for the visual arts and creating ideas established his career as an art director for agencies. However, it was his extreme attention to detail and the ability to bring these elements together that transitioned his career to directing.
With a desire to expand his creativity, he left for South Africa in search of new experiences. Working with Velocity Films, South Africa, Hanul collaborated with many cultures much different than East Asia and learned how to mix these cultures visually; which shaped his unique personal style of directing.
Taking this individual approach with him back to Korea in 2007, he quickly established a popular career as a director landing spots for Samsung, Chevy, Canon, Hyundai, Olympus, and LG. Hanul has made his mark and with his team of creatives continues to help brands reach their goals while making work worth showcasing on museum walls.
